What does Cochrane have to offer?
First of all, location. Cochrane is beautifully situated between the Rocky Mountains and the hoppin' metropolis of Calgary, so everything that those destinations have to offer is easily accessible from here. Plus, the Calgary area is the sunniest place in Canada!

And Cochrane is a thriving centre in its own right, with unique shops and cultural events year-round. Quieter than the city, but only a short drive away; close to the mountains, but without being "touristy", it's a great place to use as a base for exploration or as a quick gem to discover en-route.
This list is by no means exhaustive, but it's a good start if you'd like a sense of what there is to do and see in Cochrane and area. We are long-time residents and are happy to help you out further in person!
